I will stay at this Bed and Breakfast someday. It is on the corner of Battery and Meeting with a glorious view of the water.
Here is one for sale!!! Oh how I wish!
Now you know this girl is in love with this shade of blue! I love how the ceiling of the porch is painted this shade!!
Here is another pretty blue ceiling. So great against the white and I love the double front door with the clear glass!

My favorite of all would be the coffered ceiling of this gem painted blue!
Well, I'm back to the real world. It was such a blessing to be able to accompany my husband to Charleston (he was there attending a work conference). I enjoyed sleeping in really late and having my days to myself. I did miss my guys at home too! They were well taken care of by Nana and Grandad. We got to come home to a clean house, fresh flowers on the table, and cookies coming out of the oven.

Love your post, didn't know if you knew this or not but they paint the ceilings of their porches light blue to keep the Dirt Dobbers from building their nest. In Jefferson, TX they have a lot of Bed-n- Breakfast their and they are all painted that way. Cool uh? Thought you might want to know. Leisa
Yup. That is actually a tradition throughout the South...keeps the wasps away too. Fools them into thinking that it is sky and they won't build exposed. We're in CO and I'm tempted to go ahead and paint our tiny porch ceiling blue...for nostalgia's sake.
Jodi has been going to #2 Meeting Place for years for their Anniversary. They have lots of great pictures of them sitting out on their porch. It is a beautiful place, I've checked it out myself.

Looks like a beautiful source of inspiration--and so much more fun than looking at magazines!
Glad to find your blog via Inspired Room.
