Sneak a Peek!

I'm hard at work on Operation Laundry Room Makeover!  Today I got to the fun part...pulling out the washer and dryer from the wall!
On the bottom you will see the original Sand color that the builder put on.  The next layer I refer to as the "poop brown" I painted about 3 years ago.  As you can see I got very lazy and ran out of paint when I finally reached behind the washer and dryer.  My new color is absolutely fabulous!  My dear friends at Sherwin Williams were right on the money when the suggested Super Paint so that I would not need to prime over the "poop".  Loving it...2 coats and that is all I will need!

Let me just say that the original intent of the DARK brown was that I was trying to cover up the dirt that my dearly departed dog was leaving all over the walls in there.  It worked as far as the dirt, but when I wiped down the walls, it left big streaks all over the walls.  It just was time for a change!  We will always remember our dear Simon.
Oh my!!!  This is what 3 years of dirt looks like.  Look you can even still see a piece of tape left over from the last attempt to paint back there.  Looks like I started and then just gave up!  This time I am fully completing the job.

I've got lots more planned for this room.....some Goodwill treasure will be revealed too!!! Stay tuned...I hope to be done soon!
