Pulling this out of the files of recent DIY projects I've done this summer...Remember my Yard Sale cork board, new in the package, I got for $3.00 a few weeks ago?
Check it out now! One coat of my Valspar Soft Cream, a little fabric stapled over the cork board and I've got this....
OK, so what is this...does it serve a purpose?
I think it looks good in the corner of my bedroom in my reading nook. It gives it a little color and no one is ever in there to really see that it is so not perfect!
It was pouring rain on my way home from boot camp this morning. I have to drive by Sherwin Williams on my way home and decided to pull in. My girl Shirley whipped this up for me. It is so not as yummy in this picture. My plan was is paint the laundry room. I've been over the chocolate poop brown (it is not a pretty brown) for awhile now. I have a whole makeover vision for that room. But, the sun is peeking out and I'm getting mom guilt, so I think I'm going to shut the can and go to the pool.

I think both of your projects turned out very pretty. The lamp looks good to me - I didn't even notice the print being upside down.

super cute idea!! looks great!
Your projects look great. And if you hadn't said something, I wouldn't have known there was anything wonky with the fabric on the lampshade. Nice job!
Your jewelry holder is just fabulous!
Love the new paint.
it looks lovely, I love that fabric!
LOVE THESE! I love that fabric! AWESOME! What color is that paint? I want to do my craft room in a robins egg blue or something similar, love that color you got!

It is a Valspar color called Wintergreen Ash...although that name does not reflect the beauty of this color!
Anyway, not a fan of Valspar paint. I had Sherwin Williams make it and I used Super Paint b.c I did not want to prime and I was painting over DARK brown. I'm so in love with it...stay tuned soon for the reveal on the entire room!
